At nine o'clock a.m. on March 19 PST, Microsoft released IE8.0 for free. The Official Version of IE8.0 is available in 25 languages and can be downloaded for free on the website of Microsoft after the official release. IE8 can be installed in Windows XP, Vista, 2003 and 2008 systems. In addition in Windows 7, the new operating system of Microsoft, IE8 is bundled.

First: Download and Install
IE8 official version is available in 25 languages and support Windows XP, Vista, 2003 and 2008 systems. Delete the older version before installation. It is easy to install except that the users will be asked whether to install updates for Windows, Internet Explorer and Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool, which is up to the users ( if some installation takes a long time). When the installation is completed, the user should restart computer and really complete the installation before using it.

Second: Software Interface
The software interface of IE8 follows its original style and layout design with few retrench or adjustments and therefore looks a bit messy.

1: Label function
One feature of Label function (Tab) is that pages from the same website are labeled in the same color while pages from different websites in different colors. The other feature is that you can reopen all the Tabs you closed last time. And with the right click menu of Tab Column we can also reopen one or many Tabs which are closed by accident

The performance of Accelerators in IE8 gets improved greatly. Now you can get things done more quickly and easily on the web without opening new websites.
Simply highlight text on any webpage, and then click on the blue Accelerator icon 
or click right to search, view a map, email, translate and etc. Also by selecting the More Accelerators option you can add other Accelerators developed by Web Service Providers. You can delete, ban or start the Accelerators by clicking on Manage Add-ons with ease.

4: Web Slices
Web Slice helps you keep up to date with the information easily. If that webpage has incorporated Web Slice functionality, you can subscribe and add this "slice" of the web to your Favorites Bar by clicking on the Web Slice icon appearing beside the text. Thus you can check the latest state of the slice without leaving the current webpage. When new information becomes available, the Web Slice will be highlight shown and inform you automatically and you will not miss it. This is RSS subscription in nature.

5: Visual Search
