The most important element in the new appearance of "bing" is the navigation menu on the left side named resource manager faceplate. The contents of this special column includes swift tag (it classifies the searching results into "Web" groups according to your search), for example, when you are searching "Chicago", the search engine will forecast what you want to search automatically and create related groups; and when you are searching "No. 2 diabetes" it will create totally different groups, such as articles, symptoms and daily diet.
At the same time, the left column will display other information related to your search, such as "related search" and "search history". "Search history" displays your lately searching records, which saves you the repeating search when you want to search the same thing again.
2. Classification of the Searching Results
"Bing" can classify the searching results. For example, when you are searching hybrid cars, the searching results will be displayed below the search title after classification. Microsoft names the searching results "Instant answer". As the name indicates, "Instant answer" solves the most common problem, such as weather forecast, movie showing time and the hottest investigations, etc.
5. Saving & Sharing Function
"Saving & Sharing Function" can save and share your latest searches. You can share your searches with your friends in "Facebook" or "Windows live", or save them to "SkyDrive" folder of Microsoft. "Saving & Sharing Function" can allow you to save your favorite searches; What's more, you can re-organize them and add notes for them.
6. Images and Videos Search
The biggest difference between "live" and "bing" is the user's interface. Images and videos search in "bing" is more direct and vivid than "live".
Microsoft reorganizes images and video search in "live" search, and makes it easier for users to find complete TV show, musical movies, and other videos from advanced material provider (such as Hulu and You Tube).
7. Emotion Picking Based on Local Web
The improved search interface make it possible for you to pick the so-called "emotion" of the company about certain service or operation.
