Troubleshooting - Infrastructure Mode
- Make sure your wireless access point or router is functioning properly.
- Make sure that the PSP? system's WLAN switch is turned on.
- If you are unable to connect, there may be too much distance between the system and the wireless access point or wireless router.
- Make sure that your network settings are correct.
- Depending on the wireless LAN access point settings, it may be necessary to enter the system's MAC address. The MAC address can be found under "System Information" in the System Settings menu.
- Make sure that nothing is interfering with wireless communication (e.g., microwaves, cordless phones, other wireless devices).
- Check instructions provided with the software in use for additional troubleshooting.
- If problems with the connection persist, contact us.
Troubleshooting - Ad Hoc Mode
- Make sure that the system's WLAN switch is turned on.
- If you are unable to play an online game in ad hoc mode, make sure there are two or more PSP? systems with the same game located in the general vicinity.
- Make sure that all of the systems are either using the automatic default settings or set to the same channel for communication.
- Make sure that nothing is interfering with wireless communication (e.g., microwaves, cordless phones, other wireless devices).
- Check the instructions provided with the software in use for additional troubleshooting.
- If problems with the connection persist, contact us.
