1. Add Files
Click "Add" folder icon to import your FLV videos, you can also open the import file dialog box by double-clicking the blank field of the file list.

There are another two options on the drop-down menu, to import FLV files from IE Cache or to run FLV Downloader. FLV Downloader will pop up as an independent program to download FLV files if you have installed the downloader when you are asked to install it or not. If you click to import from IE Cache, you may find the FLV files from "Temporary Internet Files" folder.

2. Crop Video
Click
button under the File panel to crop the file.

There are two methods to crop the video:
- Drag the frame to crop the video.
- Adjust the value of the four positions: Left, Right, Top and Bottom

3. Settings

Select a profile: There are some preset profiles for you to choose. These profiles are very useful since they are the most commonly used ones. Click the drop-down menu and select a profile you think that suits your requirements. If you don't want to use a preset profile, you can directly change the settings below the profile option, and then the profile will change to Custom. The program will automatically save the latest settnigs for the added files even if it is Custom.
: Click to add the current settings as a profile so you won't have to make the same settings again.
: Click to delete the current profile.
Export type: Select the video format in which you want to export your FLV file(s).
Sub-type: Select the sub video type in which you want to export your FLV file(s), if other options are available..

Include video in output file: Tick this check-box and you can change video settings. When you select a profile with audio only, this box and the following video settings are grey, so that no video data is included in the output file. When you select a profile with PSP, this option is grey, which is to make sure that you include the video in the output file, and the video settings can be changed.
Video codec: Select a video codec for the output file, if other options are available.
Frame size: Select a preset frame size or custom frame size for the output video. If you select "Custom", you can set the frame size by changing the width and the height of the frame size. If you check the "Maintain aspect" option, the aspect ratio of the video will be kept as original and if you change the width (height), the height (width) will be automatically changed accordingly.
Frame Rate: Select a lower frame rate for your video if you want to smaller the file size. You can also select "Custom" when it is available for the video. A valid number could only be entered beside the box. When the entered value is bigger than the max value, the max value will be shown after you click other option. When the entered value is smaller than the minimum value, the minimum value will be shown after you click other option.
Bit Rate: You can select a proper bit rate for your video when other options are available. When the "Custom" option is enabled, if the entered value is bigger than the max value, the max value will be shown after you click othere option. When the entered value is smaller than the minimum value, the minimum value will be shown after you click other option. When the entered value is smaller than the minimum value, the minimum value will be shown after you click other option.

Include audio in output file: Check this box and you can change audio settings. When you select a profile with audio only, this box is grey, which is to make sure that you include the audio in the output file, and the audio settings can be changed. When the source file does not contain audio data, this option is grayed out.
Audio codec: Select an audio codec for the output file.
Bit Rate: Select a proper bit rate for your audio data, if other options are available.
Sample Rate: Select a proper sample rate for your audio data, if other options are available.
Channels: Select an audio channel for your audio data. Two types are available generally, mono and standard stereo. In profile for 3GP with amr audio codec, only "mono" is available. When you select MPEG as export type and select a DVD option in sub-type, "ac3 channel" is the only option.
Apply: Click this button to apply the settings you have just made to all the selected files. There are several occasions regarding applying the settings to all the selected files. There are three different kinds of files: Files that have both audio and video, Video-only files and Audio-only files. If the selected file include different kinds of files, the program will just ignore the settings that cannot be applied.
4. Start conversion
Click
and the program will start converting your file(s). Wait a moment and the files will be created in the output folder you have specified.
